HASAN MOUNTAIN- 3268m. (2 days) |
This two days tour starts with a short walk in the Ihlara valley and a transfer to base camp for the climb. Second day we reach the summit, where in good weather, we have a great view of the whole area and the Salt Lake. |

Trekkers need good walking boots, daysack (approximately 40Lt), warm clothing, sunglasses, sunhat, suncream, raingear (preferably breathable such as goretex), sleeping bag. Walking sticks are recommended.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS |
Accommodation: One night camping; trekkers are expected to help pitch/strike their own tents.
All tents are good quality dome tents with two doors.
Meals: Lunches will be picnics. Trekkers are expected to carry some part of the food for lunch. Evening meals in camp will be hot soup or salads, a main course with pasta or rice and fruit.

150 € Min 4 max 8 pax. For groups under 4 people, a surcharge of 50 € is added to the price.
Prices include all meals, guide, transfers and mule support. Tea and coffee are included, but alcoholic
and soft drinks which are available at camps or restaurants and entrance fees to historical sites and museums are excluded. |

Day 1: We meet at the Middle Earth Travel office in goreme at 09:00 Then we drive to Ihlara village, stopping to visit Kaymakli underground city en route. 3 hours trek in the Ihlara valley, with visits to the rock-cut churches. Restaurant lunch at Belisirma village. Drive to Helvadere and camp near the abondoned ski hotel.

Day 2: We wake up early for breakfast and start ascent over rough ground around sunrise. We hope to reach the summit before noon. (3268 mt) In good weather views of the Aladaglar and Bolkar mountains, Tuz Gölü -Salt lake- (2nd biggest in Turkey) are breathtaking. We will explore the ruins of the highest church in Turkey. Return to camp and drive for a late lunch at Helvadere trout restaurant. On the way back to Göreme, we stop for a quick swim in Nargölü lake. |
