Grade D:
For experienced trekkers who can keep up a steady pace for 8 hours or more and tackle some easy scrambling. |

Trekkers need good walking boots, daysack (approximately 40 lt), warm clothing, sunglasses, sunhat, suncream, raingear (preferably breathable such as goretex), sleeping bag. Walking sticks are recommended. |

Accommodation
One night camping; trekkers are expected to help pitch/strike their own tents.
All tents are good quality dome tents with two doors.
Meals
Lunches will be picnics. Trekkers are expected to carry some part of the food for lunch. Evening meals in camp will be hot soup or salads, a main course with pasta or rice and fruit. |

Prices include all meals, guide, transfers and mule support. Tea and coffee are included, but alcoholic
and soft drinks which are available at camps or restaurants and entrance fees to historical sites and museums are excluded. |

Rendezvous with minibus at 08.00 at Middle Earth Office, Goreme, Cappadocia. Drive to the Soganli valley and visit the rock cut churches. Lunch in restaurant in Kayseri and visit the Seljuk castle and medrese. Drive to the ski lodge. 3 hours ascent from the ski lodge (with equipment) and camp at the Sut Donduran (milk freezer) plateau (3000 mt). Camp supper. |

Wake up at 05.00 for breakfast and start ascent at 06.00 over rough ground and rock, to reach summit at 11.00. Views of Hasan Dagi, the Aladaglar and the central Anatolian plateau. Return to camp at 14.00-15.00 and trek back to rendezvous with vehicle at 17.00. Return to Goreme around 19.00.
